Research indicates that UV-328 has potential toxic effects on human health and environmental organisms. In studies involving human subjects, UV-328 was found to be metabolized into several hydroxylated and oxidized derivatives. These metabolites exhibited biphasic elimination kinetics in blood samples. Furthermore, UV-328 has been implicated in endocrine disruption and may exert liver toxicity through aryl hydrocarbon receptor-mediated pathways.
